About

Elyse Kroll

Elyse’s interior design career began in 2005 when a friend of a friend approached her to design and oversee the gut renovation of her penthouse apartment. The success of that project quickly led to others, and her company, Elyse Kroll Interiors was born.

A native New Yorker, Elyse worked her way through college cooking in various Manhattan restaurants. After graduating from NYU, she spent several years as a theatrical literary agent before deciding to do something creative in her own right. A lifelong love of art, design and cooking led to a complete career change to lifestyle television. Elyse worked for several years with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and went on to write and produce other lifestyle shows, including a pilot for celebrity makeup artist Bobbi Brown. She was Project Designer for The Nate Berkus Show and designed makeovers for both The Queen Latifah Show and the popular website, CafeMom. Her work has appeared in Martha Stewart Living, House Beautiful and Travel and Leisure.

An avid cook and mother of a teenage boy, Elyse has developed a deep understanding of what makes a home not just beautiful, but functional and comfortable. Her talent for combining color, pattern, and texture, coupled with her ability to effectively plan and utilize space, always results in homes that are eclectic yet cohesive; stylish without feeling “done.” More recently, Elyse has expanded her portfolio to include commercial spaces for businesses that wanted their workspaces to feel as creative and welcoming as the homes she has designed.

“As a designer, my job is to help my clients articulate the way they want to live, the things they want to live with, and make that happen every step of the way. If my clients feel that their home is a true reflection of them, then I’ve succeeded.”
